Join us for a one-of-a-kind culinary journey through the tastes of Tuscany—without leaving Margaret River. With acclaimed chef Sioban Sargent of Wildwood Valley Cooking School, and wine expert Leah Clearwater of the Margaret River Wine Academy, enjoy a full-day epicurean adventure that celebrates Italian food, wine, and place.

The experience culminates in a relaxed, long-table lunch where you'll enjoy an engaging lesson on Wine and Food Pairing from Leah, where every bite and sip speaks to learning, heritage and craft.

Savour the flavours of Tuscany crafted from the finest produce of the Margaret River Region - all in one day!

Day itinerary:-

9am:  Hotel pick up (Busselton, Dunsborough or Yallingup only):

Start your day with a delicious light breakfast at Merchant and Maker, enjoy a selection of freshly made food including organic breads, pastry and fruits along with a drink of your choice. 

9.45am: Flavours of Italy cooking school:

Time to don your apron while your chef Sioban guides and instructs you through the flavours of Italy. Seated around a large central table, become involved in the preparation, cooking and tasting of the dishes.  Have fun preparing the five courses, giving everyone the opportunity to engage and learn.

1pm:  Engaging food and wine pairing lesson:

As the cooking is entering into the final stages, Leah will guide and enlighten you with wine and food pairing lessons from a range of carefully selected local Margaret River wines using Italian varietals such as Sangiovese, Fiano and Vermentino. What a fantastic combination!

2pm:  Taste, talk and pour:

Time to sit around the table to enjoy fruits of your morning's labour. The wine and food pairing lesson continue as the seemingly endless food is passed around for all to share.

Much later ...

Rounding up the day with either a refreshing scenic walk, or visit to an olive farm before returning you to your accommodation.


INCLUDES:  

Light breakfast with coffee/tea, Flavours of Italy cooking school, take home recipe book, wine and food lesson, wine with lunch, coffee throughout the day, bottle of water, visit farm shop or scenic stop enroute home, pick up and drop off from your accommodation (within Busselton, Dunsborough & Yallingup), private guide and vehicle.

The tour will depart any time between 8.30am and 9am, depending on your location. You will receive an email from Forage Safaris confirming your collection time and place. If you are based in Margaret River, please meet the tour at Merchant and Maker in Dunsborough no later than 9am.
