Agritourism Showcase: The Growers Journey - Margaret River

This tour is associated to the Australian Regional Tourism Convention being held in Busselton in October 2026.

This one off exclusive Agritourism tour departs from Busselton, enjoying a scenic drive into the heart of the Margaret River region, where you’ll meet passionate farmers and producers who proudly share their knowledge, stories, and agritourism
experiences.

The day begins with a visit to an organic farm for a guided tour and morning tea, featuring tastings of their locally grown produce. Travelling along picturesque backroads, take in the ever-changing landscapes of fields and vines, that define this diverse and productive region.

Continuing south towards the Southern Ocean, we pause for a relaxed lunch, including a farm walk and wine tasting. The journey then winds through majestic karri forests, with further visits to local producers, offering insight into the breadth of agritourism in the region.

Returning to Busselton, the day concludes in time to enjoy sunset over the iconic Busselton Jetty.

This all-inclusive experience features five farm visits, generous tastings, wine experiences, lunch, scenic drives, and valuable networking opportunities, with the chance to purchase some of the region’s finest local produce to take home.

DEPARTURE LOCATION:  Busselton Visitors Centre (near the Hilton
Hotel and Busselton Jetty.

TOUR ITINERARY:

*  Depart with a private driver/guide and bus 

*  Farm 1: Organic farm tour; growers of premium beef and true free-range eggs. Enjoy tastings and morning tea with eats

*  Farm 2:  Explore the famous Berry Farm including the farm café, farm animals, shop with tastings 

*  Farm 3:  Discover farm to table on a highly productive agritourism farm that weaves a tapestry of farm, wine and food. Includes a light cheese and charcuterie lunch with wine tasting.

*  Scenic drive through the Boranup karri tree forest.

*  Market Garden tour with the growers.

*  Farm 4: A Providore specialising in creating gourmet products and wine, all home grown. Food and wine tastings with a coffee or tea is included.  

*  Easy paced tour spending at least an hour with each producer.

*  Participants must be able to walk unaided for a minimum of 3km.

NOTE: This tour needs a minimum of 4 people for the tour to depart. Prices maybe updated due to the rising fuel costs

INCLUDES: Entry fees, tastings of food and beverages, morning and afternoon tea/coffee and snacks, light lunch, meet the farmers and producers, entry fees, pick up and drop off from Busselton, private guide and vehicle.

EXCLUDES: Personal purchases, extra food and drink purchases, travel insurance, wine with lunch.
