Margaret River Standard Truffle and Wine Tour

The next Truffle season starts in June 2027!  

 

Dress warm for this day outing! Winter is the harvest season for the truffles, dress for the season and we will warm you up in front of the fire.

Explore the backroads of the Margaret River Region on a half day Margaret River Standard Truffle and Wine Tour, which includes an exciting truffle experience. This is a wonderful way to be immersed in the region’s incredible variety of produce. A bespoke experience which packs a punch and is seasonally catered to include a truffle hunt during the winter months as well as the option to meet some farm animals.

Please note that the Truffle Hunt portion will be part of a small group.

DEPARTURE TIMES:  9am  (4 hours duration)

PICK UP:                      Busselton, Dunsborough, Yallingup, Cowaramup or Margaret River

Examples of this tour include (but are not limited to):

*  Standard truffle hunt with truffle product tastings, duration 1 hour. This is part of a small group tour.

* Note that there is an option to upgrade to the Premium Truffle Experience which includes 4 dishes with fresh truffle for an additional $165 per adult or book the Margaret River Premium Truffle and Wine tour (tour duration is then 5 hours).

*  Visits to olive groves, organic farms, flower farms, vineyards, honey tasting, fruit picking, chocolate tasting, chicken farm,   optional wine, gin or beer tasting 

*  Farm walk, meet the animals

*  Opportunities to meet the farmers and producers that create world-renowned produce  

*  Tastings including food and/or wine

*  Mid tour tea/coffee and snack

*  Family friendly - please note that all children U7 years will need to be secured in a car seat or booster seat. These must be booked and paid for in advance if you don't already have your own.

INCLUDES: Entry fees, tastings of food and beverages (wine, gin, beer, non-alcoholic), mid-tour tea/coffee and snack, pick up and drop off at your accommodation (small surcharge for pick up from Cape Naturaliste or Margaret River), private vehicle and guide.

EXCLUDES: Personal purchases, extra food and drink, child car seat hire (must be booked and paid for in advance.

The tours are relaxed and give you ample time to forage and shop, to take home a taste of the South West with you. 

PLEASE NOTE: this tour operates in the winter months only, please check the weather and dress accordingly. Closed in water proof walking shoes are a requirement along with wet weather clothing. Umbrellas are provided.
